The first Monday in May: one of the most anticipated events of the year and it’s almost upon us.
Fashion enthusiasts everywhere are anxiously waiting to see who will be attending and what they will be wearing…

The Met Gala theme for this year was announced as “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” and the official dress code is “The Garden of Time.”

“The Garden of Time’‘. This motivated the fashion experts at JOOR to utilise AI to generate inspiration as to what the best dressed celebrities’ outfits could look like at this year’s event.

To do this, JOOR explored multiple online articles of the best dressed looks over the years and created a top 10 list based on the most recurring celebs featured. Each celeb and their stylist was then inputted into AI along with the Met theme to generate a mock up of what AI predicts their fit to look like.

1.JOOR sought to predict who the most anticipated and best dressed celebrities would be and what they could be wearing at the 2024 Met Gala. 2. To do this, they utilised a range of online articles on the best dressed Met Gala looks over the years by the likes of: Vogue, ELLE, Glamour A seed list of the top ten celebs that recurred the most in these articles was noted, along with their current stylist or who they collaborate with the most. 3. They then used AI tool MidJourney to generate the potential outfits the chosen celebrities might wear under the guidance of their stylist. JOOR requested three outfit options per celeb. 4. This data was collated in March – April 2024.
