16th of May – 27th of may 2023 – Stars, celebrities, actors and artists all around the world have gathered altogether in France for the 76th edition of the one and only Cannes Film Festival.

The Cannes Film Festival is one of the most prestigious international film festivals held annually in Cannes, France. It showcases a wide range of films from around the world, including feature films, short films, and documentaries. The festival is considered a major event in the film industry and attracts filmmakers, actors, producers, and other professionals from all over the world.

The Cannes Film Festival features various competitions and awards, including the Palme d’Or, which is the highest prize awarded to the best film in the competition. Other awards include the Grand Prix, Jury Prize, Best Director, and Best Actor/Actress. The festival also recognizes films in other categories such as Un Certain Regard, which focuses on innovative and daring works, and the Directors’ Fortnight and Critics’ Week sections.

In addition to film screenings and award ceremonies, the Cannes Film Festival serves as a platform for networking, film market activities, and industry discussions. This 2023 edition Naomi Campbell, Uma Thurman and her son, Elle Fanning, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones and their daughter, Catherine Deneuve, Johnny Depp opened the red carpet for the festival for the screening of “Jeanne de Barry”, directed by Maïwenn and starring Johnny Depp.

Fabulous looks of many other stars, actors and models for their red carpet aparitions have made the best introduction for a full week to come of film screenings, premieres and movie awards which we all expect to unravel for the week to come until the 27th of May.
