January 2020, Paris – Haute Couture Week gets a glimpse of “Flamenco” through Juana Martin’s designs for her SS2020 collection in the Embassy of Spain in Paris.
Juana Martín started her fashion career in 1999 when her collection was selected, among more than 150 proposals, to represent her hometown, Córdoba, in the Young Designers contest in Spain. In 2001 she participated as a novel at the International Flamenco Fashion Show, in which he won, in 2003, the prize for the best collection.
In 2005 she became the first Andalusian woman, the first woman from Cordoba and the first gypsy woman who arrives at the Cibeles catwalk, obtaining great success. Without missing, from the date of its debut, to any edition of the current MERCEDES BENZ FASHION WEEK.
Today she is one of the most versatile designers of Spanish fashion, with collections such as “Redemption” in Pret-à-Porter or “La Niña de la India” in Flamenca.
