CHANEL SS ’22 Couture

The magic of Haute Couture, the blend of past with the present, a true poetry of fashion … these are a few highlight words to describe the fashion spectacle imagined by Virginie Viard for the CHANEL house for the Spring-Summer 2022 show.

With a collection inspired by Gabrielle Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld updated by her personal view of the present, Virginie Viard’s designs show a spectacular craftmanship, an harmonious mix of constructivism with graphic contrasts in equestrian colours.

From the opening of the show with Charlotte Casiraghi on a horseback as a throwback to the importance of horse riding in Chanel’s world, to a cast of top models walking in front of a public of close friends of the brand and celebrities, the Chanel Spring-Summer 2022 show was a tale of friendship and creativity dedicated to the refinement of Haute Couture.
