GAULTIER Paris by SACAI

7th of July, 2021, Paris, France – Rue Saint-Martin in Paris is vibrating of fashion and guests are glamorously making their appearance to attend the Jean-Paul Gaultier Fall 2021 haute couture show.

This year’s autumn collection comes as a cocktail of styles materialized in 31 looks which have flourished on the Parisian runway. Jean Paul Gaultier has let his universe filtered by Chitose Abe from Sacai widely known for the talent to mix the luxury with original combinations of clothing pieces and materials. Abe kept alive the Gaultier house legacy like the iconic fall 1984 conical bra worn over a man suit and the Parisian love for feminine silhouettes and added her personal clothing reinterpretation.

Artists like tattoo artist Dr. Woo, shoe designers Pierre Hardy and Nike have been invited to fuse their contribution in the collection strengthening this way the basis of a future new collaborative era signed by … Jean Paul Gaultier.
