Interview with fashion illustrator Marianna Bellini

Interview with Marianna Bellini, fashion illustrator and designer from Milan.

Hello, Marinna! FM24 is always exploring new visions from art and fashion lovers, therefore we would love to hear yours and share it with the FM24 public!

Marianna: I am happy to do it and maybe add a bit of inspiration to this creative industry!

1.Fashion Magazine 24: One word about yourself would be….

Marianna: It would be ‘creative’ ! You can also add ‘Dreamer and Artist’, with a passion for painting, illustration and 3D design! I have started with pencils and acrylic paintings on canvas when I was child. I love drawing  since I remember it. I combined my passion for design, love for beauty and passion for fashion.

2.Fashion Magazine 24: Your definition of fashion is…?

Marianna: I don’t think there is a single definition for fashion.Fashion is art, passion, creativity, love for beauty, but also for everything that is strange, outside the box, eccentric … in fashion you can be daring, but also remain classic and sober.

3.Fashion Magazine 24: Most fashionable city for you, favourite style/brand and your  ‘must-have’ item are…?

Marianna  I think the most fashionable cities are 2: New York and Paris.

For me, of course, I’m also Italian so I also love my city, Milan. Right now my favorite brand is Elisabetta Franchi. I also very much admire Alberta Ferretti, Dior, Elie Saab … However, I prefer many other brands as long as I get inspired by their designs and ideas .

4.FM 24: Your wish for the future of the fashion world would be … ?

Marianna: I hope that the fashion world will continue to seek new things and materialize new ideas, remaining faithful to quality. And always doing that by keeping the respect for animals …there are now so many alternative fabrics that can easily replace leather and fur!

5.FM24: Thank you, Marianna, for this great interview. We are delighted to enrich our public’s bucket list with your fruitful views!
