Interview with Lisa Rosa, art lover and fashion blogger !
Hello, Lisa!
Our team has noticed your work and as we can see you are strongly connected to the world of fashion through your blog. Therefore we want to ask you a few questions related to this branch.
Lisa Rosa: Hello, everybody ! Fashion is one of my passions which led me to blogging via instagram so I would be more than happy to share my thoughts with everybody.
1. Fashion Magazine 24: One word about yourself would be….
Lisa Rosa: Versatile! That’s exactly what I love about fashion. Today I can dress elegantly and classically, tomorrow I can go out in jeans and sneakers and during weekend I can wear a mini dress having a cocktail at a fancy bar. I do not like to be put in a drawer, and that goes for my style as well. I love art and literature, delicious food and conversations in good company!
2. Fashion Magazine 24: Your definition of fashion is…?
Lisa Rosa: Fashion is like a phoenix being born again and again from its ashes.
Fashion is ahead of its time, it is new, innovative and yet at the same time it can fall back on the old – possibly interpreted differently or completely new combined. It can put familiar things in a new light. It is constantly reinventing itself, never mainstream.
3. Fashion Magazine 24: Most fashionable city for you, favourite style/brand and your ‘MUST’ have item are…?
Lisa Rosa: The most fashionable city for me is without question Paris. The Parisian street style is unsophisticated – you might say ‘laissez-faire’ but with this certain something and always on point. And its not just fashion but also art, architecture and this special way of living that this magical atmosphere altogether. Its a feeling difficult to describe, as if fashion fuses with this city, its buildings, its art and its residents. A feeling that can only be felt in Paris.
So it is not surprising that Chanel is one of my favorite brands par excellence. I love both the style and the story behind Coco Chanel. Unfortunately the clothes are a price range too high and so I like to go back to ‘chanely’ pieces of Zara and Co. My personal style is based on classic basic pieces, pimped up with statement pieces or high fashion accessories. As I’m getting older its more about the quality and timelessness of a new acquisition than just buying the fanciest trend parts. The MUST item in my wardrobe is definitely my Chanel 2.55 flap bag – a love that never fades.
4. FM 24: Your wish for the future of the fashion world would be … ?
Lisa: My wish for the future of the fashion world is to remain true to oneself, to be authentic and not to take the whole thing too seriously. Your own style should be an expression of yourself. A tool that makes you more confident and stronger, not something that constricts you or makes you small.
5. FM 24: Thank you for your answers, Lisa! It has been a true pleasure to see your views and we are sure that our readers will be inspired by them! And of course, they are a source of great ideas for the designers and creators, also !
