The GAULTIER Spring Couture

There is no Haute Couture Week complete enough without the Jean Paul Gaultier couture designs!

Presented on the 26th of February in Paris during the Couture Week, the Spring 2022 collection holds the expression of designer Glenn Martens.

As a follow up of last couture season proposed by Sacai, The Y/Project designer, Glenn Martens, succeeded to “remix” the Gaultier house signature of the marinières dresses, sailor stripes, gorgeous evening gowns with the pure Martens style of 3D elements of knitwear, chiffon and volumes coming to amplify the French house heritage through the nowadays lense of the Y/Project designer.

A magical fun collection, the Spring 2022 Gaultier collection gave us an inventive and joyful approach of the French house while keeping the key elements and patterns of the JPG brand alive in each of its fabulous pieces showcased in Paris.
