Dubai Fashion Week AW26/27: A Global Runway Moment
Dubai Fashion Week (DFW) returned to the global fashion calendar from 1–6 February 2026 at the Dubai Design District (d3), solidifying the emirate’s place as a major international fashion hub. This Autumn/Winter 2026/27 edition brought together visionary designers from around the world, blending rich cultural narratives with boundary-pushing design — a testament to Dubai’s evolving influence on global style.
A highlight of the week was Italian luxury house Alberta Ferretti, which opened the event with its highly anticipated Autumn/Winter collection, marking its first full-scale showcase in the Middle East. Throughout the week, audiences also saw striking presentations by established and emerging names such as Mrs. Keepa, Lili Blanc, Lama Jouni, and Weinsanto, each offering distinct perspectives on contemporary couture and ready-to-wear.

The runway also spotlighted international creativity with standout moments from NIF Global X London School of Trends, whose Gen-Next designers brought sustainable fabrics and heritage-inspired silhouettes into the spotlight, and the Mrs. Keepa x CTRL + BLOCK showcase, which fused identity and digital culture with fashion storytelling.
A cross-continental flair defined the closing days as celebrated Indian couturier Manish Malhotra delivered a love letter to India with his finale show, blending traditional craftsmanship with opulent modern glamour — a reminder of Dubai Fashion Week’s ability to bridge cultural worlds.

Across six packed days, Dubai Fashion Week proved that it is more than an emerging calendar entry — it has become a platform for innovation, diversity, and global fashion dialogue, drawing editors, buyers, and influencers to witness the next chapter in haute couture and ready-to-wear creativity.
