18th of June 2022, Milan – One of the most expected fashion events from the summer, the Men Fashion Week has brought on the catwalk of Milan the Versace Spring-Summer 2023 dedicated to a sexy, playful and colourful men collection.

Inspired by the designs from the Versace Home with models carrying urns and vases on the catwalks, the show seemed to be showing a connection with another big event in Milan happening at the same time, the Salone di Mobile event founded in 1961.

Going through the archives of the house , Donatella was attracted to a Versace print which represents the frozen lava resulted by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79, a moment in Roman history which marked the disappearance of ancient city of Pompeii.

The Versace Spring-Summer 2023 for Men comes as a justaposition of elements throwing back to history, Versace house codes integrated on patterns in bright colours and sharp, regiment design cuts.

The casting of top models included sons of veteran models of the house like Mark Vanderloo, Helena Christensen, Andre van Noord, Carla Bruni, Megan Douglas and Angela Lindvall just perfect to complete the theme of the collection of a redesigned past addressed to our contemporary times.
