VIVETTA FW25 at MFW

Where matter becomes thought, the extra-ordinary takes shape – Vivetta ’s FW25 is a journey carried by the wind, flowing through the brand’s signature aesthetics—a playful subversion of formal dress conventions.

The collection transforms into a statement against conformity, reimagining daywear as an invitation to embrace individuality.

Looking to the future while drawing from the past, Vivetta reinterprets her distinctive codes, opening new perspectives. The hallmark Hand Collar turns into a scarf that encircles the neckline; trompe-l’oeil takes on a bolder presence, layering mini-coats over coats, as well as mini-dresses over dresses, creating optical, chromatic, and dimensional illusions.

The house’s unmistakable ‘60s silhouette is viewed through a contemporary lens, while tailoring, regimental ties, and romantic pieces seem to float weightlessly, shaped by curved cuts and defined by airy volumes—structures of movement and memory. Wardrobe archetypes—the crisp shirt collar, the bow as a symbol of femininity—are studied, displaced, multiplied, and reconfigured. Here, the reinterpretation of the classic is always a serious divertissement, a game played with intent. Scale becomes a field of experimentation, shifting between slim and oversized fits. The same applies to technical elements, such as a sportswear-inspired hood framing the face with delicate, gathered rouching.

A meticulous curation of fabrics rewrites the vocabulary of FW25. Fluid crêpe de chine drifts alongside georgette and lace, with cool wool and wool fabrics defining more structured silhouettes. Poplin pays homage to the craft of traditional shirting; exposed viscose linings blur the boundary between the intimate and the public.

A palette distilled to its essence: deep black and tailored grey fold into cream, light blue, and crisp white. Aqua green, an oneiric pastel, meets flashes of passionate scarlet. Nature takes the stage, but not as we know it. Floral prints dissolve into surreal botanical collages, embroidered with precision. From afar, they suggest stems and petals; up close, they reveal themselves as something altogether stranger—berries, vegetables, fruit, and wild flora, grafted together in unexpected harmony. A yellow rose, upon closer inspection, is a tomato; a row of pearls masquerades as seeds nestled within a green pod; petals unfurl into butterfly wings. The familiar is deconstructed, logic suspended, and the imagination set free.

Ballet flats and loafers promise light, effortless movement. Low heels redefine femininity as something that requires no elevation. The dialogue between wardrobe and accessories continues through unexpected proportions: jewellery, inspired by the language of nature, manifests in necklaces and chokers, tracing an unbroken thread between the organic, the surreal, and the woman who wears Vivetta.
