Couturier Angelo Fair Unveils “Painting the Moon” – A Mesmerizing Spring Summer 2025 Couture Collection

Paris, France, January 31st 2025 – A rising and gifted couturier Angelo Fair has unveiled his sixth couture collection, “Painting the Moon,” to a select group of fashion enthusiasts at Rue du Château d’Eau in Paris’ 10th arrondissement. This collection is a breathtaking tribute to the intersection of art and mystery, drawing inspiration from the intriguing conspiracy theory surrounding the Apollo 12 moon mission.

“Painting the Moon” marries the avant-garde with the ethereal, as Fair skillfully channels the creative spirit of artists believed to have sent their works to the moon. Among them, the revered sculptor John Chamberlain and collage painter Robert Rauschenberg have significantly influenced the collection, alongside the surrealistic visions of Polish painter Zdzislaw Beksinski and French graphic artist Jean Giraud, known as Moebius. “Our aim was to capture the essence of art transcending earthly boundaries,” Fair commented, reflecting on the collection’s inspiration.

The silhouettes of this season’s collection are a testament to Fair’s artistic vision and unparalleled technical skills honed on Savile Row tailoring streets and while training as a couture draper in Paris. Drawing from Chamberlain’s iconic crushed automobile sculptures, Fair has ingeniously used layers of muslin and paper tulle, crumpling, pleating, and folding them to create understructures that breathe life into each dress. These foundational pieces are then sculpted with luxurious silk organza, showcasing a technique exclusive to haute couture.

The artistry continues with striking pieces that speak volumes of creativity. Fair has introduced a hand-painted silicon sculpture, reminiscent of Beksinski’s haunting imagery, mounted on polymer and adorned with resin and shattered glass. Additionally, a standout item, a collage jacket, seamlessly blends couture laces, cashmere, hand beading, and embroidery, creating a wearable masterpiece inspired by the groundbreaking style of Rauschenberg.
