Paris Fashion Week 2019 came along with many new discoveries in fashion!

A brand that caught our attention during our walks from show to show is CHRISTIANAHJONES EYEWEAR which exposed their entire collection in a lovely popup store in Paris on 26 rue de Poitou.

Christianahjones is a London based accessories brand that celebrates attitude, confidence and style, encouraging its wearers to “be your own moodboard”.

Founded by Christianah Adenrele late 2017, the brand has already become a celebrity favourite within the last year, with their signature slim sunglasses already having been worn by the likes of Beyoncé, Kaia Gerber, and Christina Aguilera.

In contrast to its early success, the brand comes from humble beginnings, with 24 year old Christianah running the brand entirely herself. Born in Camden to West African parents, Christianah grew up between London and Milton Keynes and financed the creation of her own brand through selling on the app Depop, on which she was a top seller for several years.

She embodies the mantra of “being your own boss”, having run a highly successful Depop account as well as moving into creating her own sunglasses and clothing. As a young deaf woman, this drove her to create her own income through fashion. Combining her cultural upbringing, travel experiences and the natural drive to push herself harder than others, Christianah, known as Tianah did her first London Fashion Week showroom for SS19 and has showcased her latest collection for AW19 during Paris Fashion Week 2019.
