MIAMI SWIM WEEK 2019

JULY 2019 – The middle of summer turns up the heat with one of the hottest events of the whole year – Miami Swim Week !

From 11th until the 16th of the month, talented creators of sexy and colourful swimwear showcased their designs on beautiful models who catwalked for them under the hot sun of the beautiful Paraiso Miami Beach.The event celebrated beauty in diversity and the collections adressed themselves to the confident woman who feels perfect in her own skin!

Monday Swimwear Fashion Show  – Paraiso Miami Beach
:Monday Swimwear founders, Natasha Oakley and Devin Brugman, are known as “swimwear connoisseurs” to many, but more noticeably for their strong advocacy of body positivity. Acting as inspiration to millions of women across the world, Natasha and Devin created Monday Swimwear as a continuation of their goal to instill confidence and power within their female audience. When asked about the inspiration behind the collection, Devin and Natasha said, “We are always inspired by the women in our lives. By what flatters a woman’s body and what makes them feel comfortable. This show in particular was inspired by Greece. So you will see a lot of Grecian details.”

On the 14th of July, The show began with a tantalizing performance from international Popstar and actress Millane.

Summer vibes were highlighted Nessy Swimwear‘s bright poppy colors and super sexy cuts; served high-rise twists and candy colored barely there one pieces.  Bananhot delivered on all the teeny string bikinis of your dreams, with stand out pieces being their popping red and blue printed bikini with matching cover up, and their summer sun-kissed yellow one piece. Continuing the series of shows, there were the famous Australian Group – Fashion Palette (very famous fashion runway platform) which left the guests radiating neon’s and re-inspired by throwback perfection .

While the sustainably conscious TJ Swim sported their neons showing us how sexy high cuts are really done; Lil and Emm were the playful best friends who made bringing glitter cover ups to the beach all the rage. Flattering each and every body with sweet Kelly Kapowski vibes. If Lil and Emm where the coy BFF, Nookie Beach followed up with straight-up confidence and sexy silhouettes. Sporting leopard and latex in all the right ways with pops of metallics and vinyl lacquer.

Next up, Lahana Swim unleashed the wilderness with their minimalistic iconic leopard ‘kinis. Subdued sexiness at its absolute prime. As Vincija Swimwear seamlessly made its way down the runway in one of a kind handmade pieces by the designer hands herself. Updating classic high-rise cuts with banded modern accents.

Sage Swim steamed up the runway and redefined the ordinary one piece with perfectly placed peek-a-boos and French cuts.

Sonya Swim redefined “sexy” necklines with Basic Instinct inspirations. While an Instagram favorite VDM the Label stunned yet again at Swim Week with their vibrant Spring Break ready classic green and pink neon staples and universally flattering 80’s vibes.
