New York Fashion Week is ON!

New York Fashion Week is on, everybody!

After a great New York Fashion Week debut event organised by Daily Front Row, a first day of shows starts with the New York Men’s Day (NYMD), presented by Perry Ellis America! 

NYMD has presented eight emerging menswear and genderless designers as well as current and fall 2022 collections from Perry Ellis America on Friday, February 11th, 2022 at Canoe Studios in Manhattan, New York.

Perry Ellis America hosted also a competition with the eight other participating New York Men’s Day designers. The designers showcased their collections to be judged by Thomas Harvey, Vice President of Design for Perry Ellis, Perry Ellis America and Original Penguin, and the selected winner will create a special capsule collection on behalf of the brand for an upcoming season.

The Perry Ellis America design competition aims to support and welcome emerging talent and be an example of a legacy American heritage brand fostering and uniting with the new generation of designers. 

Sperry, the heritage footwear brand, has returned to NYMD as a sponsor and will showcase new collaborations with Los Angeles based streetwear brand Pleasures, and Warm & Wonderful, the British knitwear label known for its iconic red sheep sweater. In addition, Sperry will also unveil the AW22 Cloud collection – featuring trend-forward styling and Vibram lug soles on Sperry’s iconic silhouettes.Oribe will provide grooming for the models and AOFM PRO will provide makeup.
