September 2020 – Time for a throwback from this past September at New York Fashion Week. An event that has been a true challenge to organize in the actual times of the pandemics, but which has proven to offer great experiences one more time.
The invincible Flying Solo American platform did not give up in front of the many obstacles of bringing people together for their show and has written history with an amazing show on a New York skyscraper rooftop where designers presented their collections.
An accessories brand which was immediately spotted on the runway was Scilla Design from Germany. A brand which creates sustainable leather handmade goods for elegant women who care about the way their accessories are made.
The founder and creative mind behind the brand, Magdalena Wolf, has set her goal of creating timeless chic products which are beautiful and nature friendly in the same time. All the bags Magdalena designs are made of vegetable tanned leather under the policy of zero waste consumption. Made and sewn in Freiburg, Germany, Scilla is always on the lookout for new and innovative materials and is presently looking for a vegan leather alternative.
