Paris Fashion Week strikes back with an original sporty collection inspired by the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019. 
The women’s soccer lifestyle brand from the U.S presented their collection show in “the Marais”, the downtown of Paris which is one of the finest, artistic and colorful districts of the city.

Well-known for its historical buildings, the Marais, is now one of the main districts in Paris, the ‘hot spot’ for art galleries, showrooms, art-related events and many other creative activities. It is a fashionable area, home to many trendy restaurants, fashion houses, and hip galleries. It was indeed the perfect choice to host the women’s soccer/football lifestyle brand founded in September 2013 by Laura Velasquez.

The designer and owner of Soccer Chik, Laura Velasquez, found the inspiration in one of the most popular sports nowadays, football. She wanted to combine fashion stylish clothes with sportwear. She has also created fine jewellery collection designs and accessories with the football ball icon.

The show has been organized on the special World’s Cup days and Paris Fashion Week by María Vita, Manager and Director of the Soccer Chik . She has also organized and coordinated fashion shows as well as assist in spreading the Soccer Chik Warriors program and clinics in the US.

As the brand is made and managed by women, the entire event was also photographed by a talented woman – Mariana Cattoir @marianacattoir from Paris Fashion Times – @pariswalkersfrance.
