Ungaro Women SS26 — Beauty Unbound
At Paris Fashion Week, Ungaro’s Spring/Summer 2026 Women collection unfolded as a modern ode to La Grande Odalisque — sensual, surreal, and gloriously free. The runway became a living canvas where precision met fantasy, each silhouette expressing a woman who refuses definition.
Creative Director Kobi Halperin reimagined proportion and drape through elongated lines, fluid fabrics, and sculptural cuts that blur the limits of beauty. East met West in silken tunics, fluid sarongs, and corseted shapes, glowing in saffron, azure, and blush. Intricate embroidery and metallic accents added an exotic yet modern edge.
The Ungaro woman is no longer a muse but a force — confident, alluring, and unbound. Beauty Unbound celebrates elegance as evolution, not conformity — where sensuality and strength coexist.
Founded by Emmanuel Ungaro, a master of color, pattern, and feminine sensuality, the house enters a new era under Halperin’s direction. His signature blend of structure and softness, ornate detail, and romantic fluidity redefines Ungaro for a new generation — timeless, confident, and irresistibly modern.
Kobi’s vision – “In the heart of the Louvre, surrounded by centuries of masterpieces, I was captivated by La Grande Odalisque, she commanded the room, drawing every gaze. The painting’s harem-inspired aura, its intentionally altered perspective, and revolutionary proportions revealed the artist Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres’ bold embrace on Orientalism and his reimagining of beauty beyond convention.
Draped in silks and surrounded by exotic details, she is both distant and mesmerizing, a symbol of desire suspended between fantasy and reality.
Much like fashion itself, the odalisque is not confined to the limits of anatomy or tradition; it is about imagination, transformation and the power of beauty to rewrite its own rule.”
