January comes with glam and shows! Milan is opening its fashion season with Gucci showcasing its designs during Men Fashion Week.

The week opens with the introduction of a new chapter at Gucci after the departure of its creative director Alessandro Michele in November 2022.

The House has revealed its newest collection for Men which recalls the house heritage reinterpreted within the present Fall-Winter 2023 creations. The defining codes of the Gucci, such as the Horsebit, the double tiger-headed horseshoe and piston lock are being highlighted in every look presented on the runway.

Voluminous accessories like signature bags have been present on the catwalk along with oversized overcoats, romantic oversized silk shirts, delicately ruffled at the collar and cuffs.

The suggestion was a more discreet vision of luxury for the house, though what comes next is anybody’s guess – Michele, of course, was picked from the in-house team.

Perhaps the next creative director of house is already waiting in the wings. Can’t wait to see the next Gucci news prepared for 2023!
