So 60’s vibes by DIOR

For the first real life Paris Fashion Week since the pandemic, Maria Grazia Chiuri, the artistic director of the Dior house, made a throwback to the 1960’s fashion with costumes, suits, dresses in simple geometrical cuts, clean lines, bold colours with an optimistic and youthful vibe.

The Dior Spring-Summer 2022 collection was showcased in a space inspired by the ideas of Italian artist Anna Paparatti, now 85 years old, who was part of the international art and music scene from Piper Club in Rome. She suggested a scene that makes it look like everybody on stage is performing together.

The collection inspired by the 1960’s has been perfectly mingled by Chiuri with the mood of the nowadays keeping the perfect balance between the 60’s youthquake and the contemporary fashion trends.
