The world of MOSCHINO

Moschino

22nd of September 2022, Milan, Italy Moschino wins the Milan Fashion Week with a one-of-a-kind collection signed by Jeremy Scott.

Playful, colourful, classic and surprising in the same time, the collection is inspired by nothing else than … inflation. Like Jeremy said, everybody is talking about it, news drown all of us with the topic so why not take the concept and materialize it in volumes, cuts and colours for a future collection.

Moschino is that one brand which puts its personal spin on any “dark” theme and makes it rise and shine.

“Sometimes we feel like we’re drowning” Scott continued… “I’m sure you do. I know I do. But no matter what is going on, we have to save space for joy, right? The darker it is, the lighter I have to be.”

Making good on that promise, he sparkled his evening-night looks with honest-to-goodness pool floaties.

The most inspired of the “floaties” set included a strapless purple column cinched at the waist with the deflated ends of a pink raft, its pneumatic ends creating a train, and another strapless number that was accompanied by a Lilo stole.

“By the end, Imaan Hammam’s look was more of a floatation device than gown, but that was Scott’s point. Anyone who could use a little buoying up, Scott’s your pool boy” – via Vogue Magazine
