The Vivienne Westwood Autumn-Winter 2021-2022 collection was showcased digitally during the past February London Fashion Week.
Vivienne Westwood, the rebel and nonconformist designer of the United Kingdom, the starter of punk and new wave designs in the mainstream fashion market from the 1970s until the present, is coming out with a new collection for the next winter season which supports the nowadays world’s cause to protect and preserve our planet.
With friendly ecosystem materials like traditional wool fabrics, tartans, recycled denim,nylon and polyester, forest positive viscose, organic silks and innovative printing systems, the collection celebrates colour, joyful patterns, pastoral scenes inspired by the 1743 ‘Daphnis and Chloe‘ painting by French Rococo painter François Boucher, housed nowadays in the Wallace Collection from London.
With an outstanding sense of poetry of shapes, colour and patterns, the Vivienne Westwood FW 2021 collection is a celebration of arts told by timeless pieces that last in time: the art of fashion and the art of love and protection for our lovely planet.
