MIAMI SWIM WEEK DAY 1 & DAY 2 – WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN!
Miami Swim Week 2022 officially kicked off (Tuesday 7/12/22) with a wild start at a private VIP media and influencer reception at Salvaje in Midtown Miami celebrating beautiful swimwear fashion trends from Bodhi Miami and JAMS by Jilian, top designers showcasing during Miami Swim Week 2022 at the SLS Hotel South Beach.
Guests sipped on Palomas while enjoying Spanish Branzino, mouth-watering short rib, variety of sushis, and received bespoke custom candles from Taja Collection.
Noteworthy guests in attendance included Chris Lavish, Eliad Cohen, Patrick Van Negri, Lucia Ugarte, Stephy Carrillo and Amazon superstar Andrea Salazar.
Following the VIP sunset dinner at Salvaje, guests rode Alto to Baia Beach Club at Mondrian South Beach for a special InList + Wilhelmina Miami Swim Week thanks to VOGA Italian and Kettle One Botanicals.
The party lit up with beats by DJ Yissel while guests mingled poolside amongst Miami’s glitterati. Noteworthy guests in attendance included Katya Tolstova, Ninoska Vásquez, Pedro Lollett and Mr. Kevin Robert.
For our second day (Wednesday, July 13, 2022), Miami Swim Week™ The Shows hosted a special luncheon and fashion presentation at Seaspice Brasserie & Lounge with VIP Media, Buyers, and Influencers.
The fashion presentation was curated by The Bungalow Bazaar, showing off a variety of color palettes, 2000’s silhouettes and macrame accessories for swimwear.
Guests sipped Prosecco by VOGA Italia, sampled seafood towers, tuna tartar, panko crusted shrimp while enjoying music spinned by DJ Cardi’s perfect daytime set.
Noteworthy guests in attendance included Olga Ferrara, Miki à La Mode, Stephy Carrillo, Eddie Otero, Esther Beniflah, Lucia Ugarte, and Rick Sykes.
The Little Lighthouse Foundation hosted Miami Swim Week’s first fashion show across the pool-top runway at SLS Hotel South Beach while spotlighting their organizational mission to help local underserved Miami families and children— two beautiful young girls opened up the show as remarks were given by LLF Executive Director Jonathan Babicka.
The star of the show was the beautiful handcrafted, wearable art and couture fashion that hit the runway — from Ema Savahl’s new swimwear collection presented by swimwear model legends, like Priscilla Ricart and Georgina Mazzeo, bringing the house down by a live DJ set. The collection revealed in front of hundreds of fashionistas, influencers, models and media included one-piece and two-piece translucent, handpainted, and illuminescent swimsuits, as well as bodycon and bodysuits dresses that accentuate the feminine form perfectly.
Ema’s beautiful handcrafted wearable art and swimwear fashion also entered the Metaverse tonight and debuted a new swimwear NFT collection featuring 1,000 NFT’s of Savahl’s swimsuits.
