29th of September 2021, Paris, France – Ten years back on 28th of September 2011 Balmain house was stepping into a new era of fashion redefined by Olivier Balmain, a 25 years old young guy who started to run the famous couture Parisian house. Little would anyone know what an enormous impact would Olivier bring to the brand, transforming it into a true fashion phenomenon.

The same day exactly ten years later in 2021 along with the launch of the Spring-Summer 2022 collection, the brand celebrated a decade of success under the magic touch of Olivier, the first black person in a leading position of a historical French fashion brand. The power of the designer, its ideas and vision to empower women and the beauty in diversity made a strong impact in the industry.

Olivier’s designs have always been bold, unique, avant-garde but high-class and the Spring-Summer 2022 collection makes no exception to the rule.

A cast of top-models from various generations like Precious Lee, Alva Claire, Naomi Campbell, Carl Bruni along with many other fantastic faces walked in front on 6000 people who screamed to celebrate Balmain and Olivier’s accomplishments and vibed altogether for a fresh and vibrant future of an industry that is just starting to uncover its unlimited surprised for us!
