6th of October 2021, Paris, France – The last day of Paris Fashion Week was marked by the unforgettable show of the Chanel house hosted by Grand Palais, the brand’s favourite show location from Paris.

Evoking the well-known class and simplicity as the main code of Chanel which Virginie Viard is preserving so well for the brand, the collection brought surprise ellements to spark up the collection: pink jeans, red jacket and pants, chic jewellery as highlights for each look, retro shoes with a bit of an edgy touch and glamorous gowns destined for the red-carpet events we all dream of living soon again.

The show itself was also thought as an ode to cinema and to Coco Chanel’s close actor friends like Romy Schneider, Anna Karina, Jean Morreau. All the pre-show teaser videos that the brand released right before it, together with the models attitude on the catwalk were all meant to create a step-by-step cinematic vision of the entire collection. Again and again, defying the strange times we all live, the Chanel house has kept its line of simplicity, glamour and surprise ellements to create a unique, yet all-time classic Spring-Summer 2021 collection.
