COS Fall-Winter 2023

COS Autumn-Winter 2023 ..

COS unveils its latest ATELIER collection, marking the capsule’s third consecutive season since its debut at New York Fashion Week last year. Designed in the brand’s own workshop in London, the collection embodies the essence of COS’s design philosophy, paying close attention to craftsmanship, tailoring and careful choice of materials.

The collection is inspired by the organic prints often found in nature. Warm shades of brown are paired with navy and muted neutrals, while metallic accents make the looks easily wearable both day and night. The natural materials used give fluidity to the pieces and perfectly complement the structured cuts in the collection. The dramatic maxi dresses are featured alongside a hand-crocheted, textured set that includes a cocoon vest with matching mini skirt and cowl, all made from mohair and wool sourced from verified sources and in accordance with the Responsible Mohair Standard.

Traditional tailoring techniques have been applied and reconfigured to reinterpret and update the fit of classic wardrobe pieces, creating modern silhouettes. Featuring haute couture sets in both the women’s and men’s collections, deconstructive techniques lead to thoughtful details such as oversized tuxedo jacket lapels crafted from satin. The women’s collection features a jacket made from Responsible Wool Standard wool, designed to highlight a cinched waist hood with a rear view and silk drape. In the men’s collection, classic tailored suits are reimagined in soft leather and finished with contemporary raw edges.

Leather elements continue to be present in the women’s collection; a ready-to-wear coat is complemented by accessories made from materials left over from the production of other items, creating a unique silhouette with organic movement.

Architectural silver accessories enrich the collection, metallic hardware contrasts with the soft leather of the bags. Silver and recycled brass spheres feature on belts, leather sandals and jewelry, including a set of decorative statement brooches.

COS Atelier Fall-Winter 2023 launches online and in selected stores on October 19, following the presence on the NYFW2023 catwalk alongside the brand’s Fall-Winter main collection.
