A modern fairytale – This brief description would be the perfect sum up of the Spring-Summer 2021 Couture collection “Haute Fantaisie” from Viktor & Rolf.

A fantasy story mingled with a party mood, the warm season collection from the Dutch designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren could also be described as a “couture rave”. All designs are soaked with a high energy to lift the general spirit after the demanding times experienced during the past year.

The designers opted for an original mix of contrasting items which apparently would not be considered put together. Pieces of archive jewellery and fabric, handmade and do-it-yourself ellements combined with couture techniques and eclectic associations of colours gave life to a collection with a festy-circus vibe redefining the idea of haute couture.
