Interview with Veronika Akhmatova (www.ahvero.com), Russian fashion illustrator.

Fashion Magazine 24: Hello, Veronika! It is not a secret anymore that FM24 is a big fan of artists and their amazing ideas and works. Therefore it is a great pleasure for us to have you among those who share their views with fashion and art lovers from everywhere.

Veronika: I cannot be more thrilled than having an opportunity to have a lovely chat about what i love doing the most.

1. Fashion Magazine 24: One word about yourself would be…?

Veronika Akhmatova: I am a determined person, when I have a target nobody can distract me.

2. Fashion Magazine 24: Your definition of “fashion”  is…?

Veronika Akhmatova: I was born in Saint Petersburg, a beautiful city where art lives everywhere. So, for me, fashion is art. I’m like a painter, men and women are the canvases on which I paint my ideas, what I feel. When you look my illustrations, you see my feelings, my soul.

3. Fashion Magazine 24: Most fashionable city for you, favourite style/brand and your “MUST” item are ..?

Veronika: I love Milan and Paris, I think they are capitals of fashion. I travel much in these cities for work and when I am there, I can feel fashion in every corner. If you want to understand the trends that fashion will follow, you must go in these two cities. 

I love brands like Givenchy, Valentino, Moschino, Alberta Ferretti. I love their style, their idea of fashion.

4. Fashion Magazine 24. Your wish for the future of the fashion world? 

Veronika: Continue to innovate, to produce something new that can amaze people.
