“L’Horloge” of OLIVIER THEYSKENS

October 2020, Paris, France – The FM24 fashion marathon continues with a visit to Olivier Theyskens store from Rue Reaumur in Paris.

A rainy charming Paris, a cool shop set, a warm welcome from the brand’s representatives and a high-fashion collection were the perfect ellements to frame the presentation of the brand’s latest SS21 collection, “L’Horloge”.

Although it might seem so, it is not easy to describe the work of Olivier Theyskens. A first glance to each of the brand’s garments would call out for the timeless and feminine simplicity, but the feeling you get when looking deeply into the collection is more complex than that.

Olivier’s talent and vision enriched by the experience during his years of work for Rochas or Nina Ricci is surfacing up in the perfection of the details, the fine materials and perfect cuts in each piece from his collection.

If trying to define Olivier Theyskens, how should we do it?

Theyskens is French chic class, feminity with a touch of mistery, earthy colours combined with whites, pastels and reds, sensual dresses with gothic and theatrical ellements, an utmost elegance but with an unstoppable versatility for day and night – this is just to give a brief overview of Olivier’s designs. No wonder they have been and continue to be the choice of Hollywood stars like Nicole Kidman, Lady Gaga and other celebrities who feel complete when wearing the Theyskens designs.

But as we always love to conclude that “a picture is worth a thousand words”, let’s allow the images to speak by themselves and bring the Theyskens temptation among all fashion adorers!
