Paris, France – Monday 30th September – Pariha showcases their new collection ‘ Two Halves’ at Paris Fashion Week S/S20 with Global Fashion Collective on September 30th 2019 at Palais de la Découverte. Pariha by Parinitha MN, is a contemporary Womenswear label that tells stories of art. This label’s eclectic collections blend with contemporary trends creating
statement pieces that work cohesively as well as individually.

GLOBAL FASHION COLLECTIVE (GFC) is a platform supporting creative designers from around the world. The collective produces runway shows in different fashion capitals with the aim to accelerate the designer’s global development, increase their international media visibility and open new markets. Global Fashion Collective is an expansion from Vancouver Fashion
Week, presenting its designers in front of international media and buyers globally. This season for the first time Global Fashion Collective will be showing at Paris Fashion Week, presenting a diverse line-up of hand-picked talent from around the world.

“My collection is called Two Halves, and I was inspired by the undiscovered artist that’s actually hiding in each one of us. It’s in the magic mess that we might be too scared to find when we look inside ourselves. And no matter how much a misfit we think we are, there is space in this vast universe to be exactly who we are meant to be! When we come together and create we
can bring about massive change. Even if one of us is missing there’s a void waiting for us to fill it up. Through this collection I hope to inspire someone to bring out the artist in them. The prints and colours for this collection are inverts of each other depicting our alter ego – another version of us that exists. ABOUT DESIGNER
Parinitha is the brains and brawn behind label Pariha, where she creates beautiful contemporary Indian wear. A NIFT alumna, this curly haired entrepreneur recognized her passion and started her own company, now just over three years old, to tell stories that are quietly losing out. This label’s collections are hugely inspired by art, crafts, history and an
eclectic mix of unique identities, reminding ourselves that we are part of something bigger.
Each ensemble wanders through an emotion, creating statement pieces that work cohesively, as well as individually.
