January 2020, Paris – Tatras and Riot Hill brands unify their collection in a special show at Palais de Tokyo.
The “So Far, So Good” collection represents the unity of the Japanese and American designs language. Two identities are merged into a singular to create a body of work that is encompassing of both brands demographics.
Ellements from Swiss military uniforms with accents from violence, anonymity and order combined with oversized silhouettes, outersoles produced by Italian footwear company Vibram, metal hardware produced by Tatras, nylon goose down jackets constructed in Poland, Japanese kamikaze pilots create a collection speaking of subversive cultures and utilitarian garments reformed into contemporary garments.
In front of a public full of media representatives, photographers, bloggers, celebrities like Bella Hadid, Tatras and Riot Hill made a full statement of how different cultures and styles can add up to create a masterpiece.
