Sunday, 28th of November 2021 has saddened the entire fashion world with the loss of another genius of the fashion industry, Virgil Abloh, the creative director of Louis Vuitton and the founder of Off-White streetwear brand.
A young man, a great husband, father and friend, an optimist by definition, a creative mind who shared his immense imagination for the past three years with the fashion brand, Louis Vuitton, Virgil Abloh succeeded to push the artistic boundaries in the fashion field by fading the lines between haute-couture and streetwear, opening doors for so many cross-collaborations with celebrities and other companies.
His legacy consists of strong contributions for the world of music, art and avant-garde creations seen as wearable fashion, innovative sneakers as the collection made for Off-White X Nike and represents a fresh outlook for the future generations to come.
All fashion icons, celebrities, media representatives and top models who Virgil has worked with, mourn his loss at the early age of only 41 years old stating the very same thing which we all know so well.
Virgil Abloh was a creative genius, a visionary who transcended fashion boundaries between past and present, haute-couture and street style, old and new, being competitive while working in a team. He managed to blur the cultural boundaries while keeping the beauty of each one intact, forming his own new design language which is set to keep a fresh tone in the fashion business from many years now.
