Let’s chat with model Min Zhou

Another day, another friendly chat with another cool model ready to give personal opinions and views about the much-loved fashion branch.

Today we are talking to Min Zhou, one of the models from this September’s Paris Fashion Week during the Paris ReMade brand presentation. A person with a complex work background that ranges from modeling, fashion design, marketing projects, graphic design, art, management to engineering and business. Min Zhou’s profile is the perfect FM24 prototype: a versatile person with determination and passion in her activities.

1.Fashion Magazine 24: Hello Min! We are all happy to meet a person with such a wide array of interests. Let’s get people to know you better and be inspired by your example.

Min Zhou: Hi FM24! Meeting you during Paris Fashion Week was great and i am excited to have this chat with FM24.

2.FM24: Let’s invite people to know you . One word about yourself would be…?

Min Zhou: The word that describes me the best is “creative”. Creation is what fuels my energy to evolve.

3.FM24: Your definition of “fashion”  is…? 

Min Zhou: Fashion is a mirror of time and history. It influences the reform of an era and combines it with current styles.Through fashion you can understand the rythm of a certain time in society.

4.FM24: What are the most fashionable city for you, your favorite style/brand and your “Must-Have ” item? 

Min Zhou: My favorite fashion city is Paris, because the French people are very much in pursuit of their own personality, independence, and creativity.

My favorite brand is Phillips Perisse, because he is a good designer and pays a lot of attention to the status, role and pressure of women. He said it’s not easy to be a woman, having a good job, taking care of family and developing interests. He stated that his clothing design is for super women and his models aren’t only very young girls.

5.FM24: Your wish for the future of the fashion world would be …?   

Min Zhou: I wish that fashion can continue to make the world a better place and that everyone can find their own style. Fashion and art can be better when combined.

In my visions regarding future, luxury goods will not be so important in the world of young people. Designer brand will occupy more market positions, a lot more brands will pay more attention to nature, humanity, personality, comfort, health and the combination of culture and art.

Of course, there are too many brands in the world, and there is a lot of waste. We need to seriously rethink this part of fashion.I don’t believe fashion is just for making new products. For example, the Paris Remade brand tries to add new designs to the old designs and keeps respect for the old designs, which is a very good start in environmental protection.
