Suzette Bussey of Norton and Hodges is a brand new fashion designer who creates fashion forward casual luxury accessories inspired by Africa across hats, belts, jewelry, handbags, totes, scarves and footwear.

Suzette created an innovative collection of collars for F/W 2019 that are a fresh spin on a woman’s indispensable accessory – the scarf. Feminine and romantic with a dash of fantasy, the collection draws inspiration from Yves Saint Laurent and Alexander McQueen, integrating vibrant furs and feathers into eye-catching designs. They’re luxurious, feminine pieces a woman puts on and feels beautiful – fabulous with jeans, a tee and cashmere duster or dressed up for a night out. It’s all about effortless elegance.

This year she added the Jewel Collection in delicious pastel colors – pink diamond, iced sapphire and lapis lazuli – and the Ikati Collection, limited edition sustainable collars repurposed from couture vintage coats. She also launched a line of fur flip flops, Cape Plakkie Sandals, created her first Resort and S/S collections, went live on retail portal Orchard Mile, did a pop up on Martha’s Vineyard this past summer and was featured in People Magazine last month.
